Test Administration Options

Central to all of the Polaris systems is flexibility. This extends to the administration options provided for the testing system. These include:

• Web-based administration
• Paper-and-pencil administration with web-based data entry

The flexibility also extends to integration with virtually any applicant tracking system (ATS). Polaris Educational Systems is a formal partner with General ASP and, for districts that use that system, the test simply becomes an additional tab in the application.

With other applicant tracking systems, candidates click on a button to access the test. They are then seamlessly taken to the Polaris website to respond to the test. Once they click to “Submit” their responses, they are seamlessly returned to the district’s applicant tracking system. The candidate’s test results are then downloaded into the district’s ATS where they are available for use in sorting, ranking candidates, etc.

If districts do not use a web-based ATS, applicants can be directed to sign onto the Polaris website directly for the administration of the tests. Districts can then sign onto the Polaris user site to access the candidate’s results, download reports, etc.
